1939-45 Star, Atlantic Star, Pacific Star, CVSM with Overseas Clasp, War Medal 1939-45,  Royal Naval Volunteer Reserve Long Service and Good Conduct Medal  (F.X. Cloutier Ldg Patrolman V3371 R.C.N.V.R.)

Francois Xavier Cloutier was born in Charlesbourg, Quebec 14 December, 1919. He had 2 year prior service in the Canadian Militia (Royal Rifles of Canada) when he attested to the RCNVR in April, 1939. He served initially as an Ordinary Seaman, was advanced to Able Seaman, and in 1943 appears to have been reclassified as a Patrolman doing Military Police duties. He finished the war as a Leading Patrolman and had 12 months of sea time. He was discharged from the RNCVR in 1946. Medals are courtmounted and have been plated.
