WWI Victory Medal named to: 634 A. S. SJT. R. WHITE. R.C.D.
Richard White was born in Catford, Kent, England. He joined the Royal Canadian Dragoons at Valcartier, Quebec, in August, 1914. He proceeded to France in May, 1915. Admitted to hostpital suffering from Trench Fever in November, 1917. Returned to the RCD in France in March, 1918 and remained with the unit until the end of the Great War save for another stint in hospital. A nice and scarce medal to a Senior NCO of the Royal Canadian Dragoons.
