WWI Victory Medal named to: 3616 GNR. C. SILKE. R.A.
Clifford Silke was born in Cannington, West Bridgwater, Somerset and joined the Royal Field Artillery in September, 1914. His service record survives and indicates that he was wounded in action on January 6th, 1916 whilst serving in the 69th Brigade artillery in Gallipoli.
