WWI Victory Medal named to: 89187 GNR. J. TAGGART. C. F. A.
John Taggart was born in Cawood, Quebec and living in Ottawa when he joined the CEF in June, 1915. He proceeded to France with the 25th Battery, 6th Brigade, Canadian Field Artillery. Accidentally injured in September, 1918 when he was struck by a railway wagon and invalided to England and discharged as medically unfit in 1919.
