WWI Victory Medal named to: 23707 PTE. C. SCHELLINCK. C.A.V.C.
Charles Schellinck was born in Ghent (Gand) Belgium and was working as a butcher when he joined the 12th Battalion CEF in Valcartier in September, 1914. In England he was transferred to Number 3 Mobile Veterinary Section and proceeded to France with this unit, serving with them until the end of the Great War. He was discharged in Canada in 1919. Scarce to unit.
