WWI Victory Medal named to: 445072 PTE. W. O'DONNELL 26-CAN. INF.
William O'Donnell was born in Lankasire [sic] (presume Lanarkshire), Scotland. He had previously served in the British Army (details unknown) when he joined the 55th Battalion CEF at Sussex, New Brunswick in June, 1915. He served in France with the 26th Battalion and was wounded (GSW Leg) in September, 1916 on the Somme.
