Charles Lloyd Worthington was born in Rochester, Kent, England. He joined the 19th Battalion CEF at Toronto in April, 1915. He was taken prisoner by the Germans on May 9th, 1917 during the feriocious counter attacks at Fresnoy and held in Germany until his release in 1918. A scarce medal to a Canadian prisoner of war.
