WWI Victory Medal named to: 192842 PTE. R. W. GLENN. 15-CAN. INF.
Roy William Glenn was born in Collingwood, Ontario. He joined the 92nd Battalion (48th Highlanders) CEF at Toronto in September, 1915. He proceeded to France in a draft to the 15th Battalion and was severely wounded (machine gun bullet to chest) during the attack on the Canal du Nord in September, 1918. He died of his wounds on October 6th, 1918 and is buried in Les Baraques Military Cemetery, Pas de Calais, France. Photos and additional details are available on the Canadian Virtual War Memorial:
