WWI Victory Medal named to: 344002 PTE. D. E. STEACY 102-CAN. INF.
Charles Edward Steacy was born Mallorytown, Ontario. He initially joined the 59th Battalion CEF but appears to have been struck off strength as a deserter. He later joined the 73rd Battery, Canadian Field Artillery, and after being transferred to a couple of different battalions in England, eventually served at the front in the 102nd Battalion CEF.
