Armand Tessier was born in Montreal and working as a munitions worker when he was drafted into the Canadian Expeditionary Force in September, 1918. He was taken on strength in the 259th Battalion and proceeded to Vladivostok with the battalion in December, 1918. He returned to Canada upon the redeployment of the CSEF and received his discharge in June, 1919. Tessier passed away in Montreal in 1971. His Class A War Service Badge accompanies his BWM and Victory Medal.
