A WWI period (circa 1905-21) full sized Military Merit Order 4th Class (Militärverdienstorden, Kreuz 4. Klasse). Scarce variety without swords. Marked "950" for the silver content and "J. L." for the manufacturer Jakob Leser of Straubing. The suspension ring is further marked "900" for its silver content. A beautiful order in outstanding condition.
