WWI British War Medal named to: 27627 PTE. W. A. BLUNT. 15-CAN. INF.
Walter Arrow Blunt was born in Toronto, Ontario and was a member of the Governor General's Body Guard (Canadian Militia). He joined the 15th Battalion CEF (48th Highlanders of Canada) at Valcartier in September, 1914. He served overseas with the 15th Battalion and was severely wounded at Mont Sorrel in June, 1916. Blunt was evenually invalided to Canada for a medical discharge in 1917.
