Charles Males was born in Hitchin, Hertfordshire, England and had served seven years in the Bedfordshire Regiment when he joined the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery at Valcartier Camp, September, 1914. He was discharged from the CEF in 1919 and passed away in 1921.
