WWI 1914-15 Star named to: 86023 PTE. C. TACK. 2-CAN. DIV. H.Q.

Cornelius Tack was born in London, England and working as an electrical engineer when he joined the 24th Battery, Canadian Field Artillery in Fredericton, New Brunswick in December, 1914. He was transferred to the 2nd Canadian Division Sub Staff and proceeded with the Heaquarters to France in September, 1915. In 1916 he was transferred to Canadian Corps HQ serving as a groom to a Major Morrison. He later served in the 2nd Canadian Division Supply Column and the Canadian Motor Machine Gun Brigade.
