Harry White Clark was born in Aberledy, Scotland. He has previously served with the Royal Army Medical Corps in South Africa during the 2nd Boer War 1901-02. A druggist by profession and a member of the Canadian Militia, he joined the CAMC at Valcartier in September, 1914. He served overseas with the 2nd Canadian General Hospital and the 1st Canadian Field Ambulance.
