WWI 1914-15 Star named to: A-398 PTE. J. F. SULLIVAN. 1-CAN. INF.

John Francis Sullivan was born in Boston, MA, USA. He joined the 33rd Battalion CEF at Windsor, Ontario in January, 1915. He proceeded to France in a draft to the 1st Battalion. Sullivan was killed in action on April 9th, 1917 – the first day of the Battle of Vimy Ridge. He had no recorded family as next of kin – his medals and a Memorial Plaque were sent to a friend in Albany, NY.
