Eric Veevers Johnson was born in Bristol, England. He was a member of the 19th Lincoln Regiment (Canadian Militia). He joined the 36th Battalion CEF at Hamilton, Ontario in April, 1915. He served overseas in the 1st Battalion CEF and was twice wounded during his service.
