A circa 1860s British Shako. Excellent condition. Badged to the 34th Cumberland Regiment (later the Border Regiment). Plume is likely incorrect but is as found. Maker marked to "S. Patey" of London. Rare to find headgear of this vintage in such immaculate condition.
