Queen's South Africa Medal named to: 1754 TPR: C. POSTON. S.A.C.

Research indicates that Claude Poston belonged to the Victoria Rifles of Canada when he volunteered to serve in South Africa. He appears to have been commissioned in the 55th Megantic Infantry as a Lieutenant following his Boer War service.
