Naming a bit rubbed in parts.

Also included are three sterling silver abstinence medals from his time in the British Army.

George Frederick Killick (Killock on some documents and his QSA) was born in Redhill, Surrey, England. He served for 12 years in the Gordon Highlanders during which time he was awarded both the IGS and QSA. He immigrated to Canada at some point after his discharge and was working for the Canadian National Railroad in Cobourg, Ontario when he joined the 139th Battalion CEF there in January, 1916. He served in France in the 1st Canadian Labour Battalion and was wounded (GSW right arm) in October, 1917. He died in 1944 and is buried in Prospect Cemetery, Toronto.
