North West Canada Medal named in contemporary engraving to: John Birch 95th M.G.
Corporal John Birch is on the roll for the medal without clasp. He served in the 95th Manitoba Grenadiers during the 1885 Riel Rebellion - and is noted as living in Plum Green.
