An interesting WWII period Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve uniform. Appears to be a modified RCAF type tropical uniform adapted for RCNVR use. The exact history of why these uniforms were adapted for navy use is unknown to us but other similar examples are known to exist. Shoulder boards have been attached via tailoring some loops from similar fabric. RCNVR buttons. Comes with 2 pair of pants. Shows wear and use but still very presentable. An interesting and uncommon Canadian Navy uniform.
