Kenneth W. Hutt was born in Queen's County, Nova Scotia. He joined the 40th Battalion, CEF in 1915 and served in France with the 13th Battalion until being invalided out suffering from Nephritis and Shell Shock. It appears he attempted to later rejoin the CEF but was not accepted for further service due to his chronic medical condition. He passed away in 1931.
