Frank Cobb was born in New Glasgow, Nova Scotia. He joined the 193rd Battalion and following transfers to the 185th and 17th Battalions, was eventually sent to France with the 85th Battalion (Cape Breton Highlanders). He was invalided to Canada and died in 1922 of causes related to his military service.
