A standard 5 button CEF tunic with a single wound stripe, "Canada" shoulder titles and C/50 collar badges. The tunic is named (some details difficult to discern) to 696124 Private Herbert F. MALCOLM. Malcolm was born in Whitby, Ontario and was living in Irvine, Alberta when he joined the 175th Battalion in Medicine Hat in February, 1916. He proceeded overseas with the 50th Battalion in April, 1917. Malcolm suffered a severe shrapnel wound to his head in August, 1917 and was eventually invalided to Canada in October, 1918. Shows normal wear from use but a solid example. A nice, named CEF tunic.
