Officers Service Dress (OSD) dark bronze finish. 3 lugs to reverse. Flat backed. Marked: G & S Co. – 112 Regent St. W.

These appear to be made from the same dies as the sterling silver badges produced circa 1918 by Bent and Parker for the same maker (Goldsmiths and Silversmiths Co.) However, the area where the silver hallmark appeared and the Bent and Parker maker information has been overstamped/filled in with additional metal. An interesting variant.
