Alexander Jenkins joined the Middlesex Regiment and was later transferred to the 5th Battalion London Regiment. (additional service numbers: 304232, 10827). He entered the Egypt theatre of war 1 September 1915. Jenkins died of wounds 3 December 1917 and is buried in Grevillers British Cemetery, France.
