28711 Private Walter Kingdom joined at Tiverton, Devonshire. He initially served in the Border Regiment having service number 34535. At some point he was transferred to the 1st Battalion Devonshire Regiment and was killed in action serving with the battalion 20 September 1918. He is commemorated on the Vis-en-Artois Memorial, France.
