Punjab Medal with clasp for "Chilianwala" named to: G. Banks, 2nd Eur. Regt.
George Banks, served 11 years, 2 months in the 2nd European Regiment (which would become the 2nd Battalion Royal Munster Fusiliers). He was wounded in the left arm during the Battle of Chilianwala during the Punjab Campaign, and discharged to pension.
