India General Service 1908-35, one clasp, Waziristan 1921-24 (Lt. G.T. Dinsmore, I.S.C.)

Major Gerald Telford Dinsmore, born 1900 at Harroweald, Middlesex; joined as Second Lieutenant 19th Hyderabad Regiment, 1920; Captain 1929; Adjutant 1930; Senior Staff Officer Bannu Brigade, Mir Ali 1932; Major attached Royal Indian Army Service Corps, 6 District Supply Company Jubbulpore, 1938. He died on active service on 5 December 1945 and is buried in Kirkee War Cemetery.

Gerald was the son of John Telford Dinsmore and Mary Ann Dinsmore, of Sandycove, Co. Dublin, Irish Republic.
