An excellent, untouched example of an early WWII US Combat Helmet. Shell retains the original dark green paint with typical wear to the helmet rim. Chinstrap intact and complete. Liner is MSA stamped (Mine Safety Appliance) and in excellent condition with complete leather chin strap. A couple of minor bruises to the steel shell but otherwise in outstanding condition. Very difficult to find early, untouched examples of the M1 helmet.
