For his service during the Nile Expedition in 1898 he was awarded the Queen’s Sudan Medal and the Khedive’s Sudan medal with clasp “Khartoum”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\"\u003eConway rejoined his regiment early during WWI and served with the 9\u003csup\u003eth\u003c\/sup\u003e Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment. He landed at Gallipoli and was killed in action 10 August 1915.
